Flexible Muscle Stretches

We’ve all heard of it, and yet the sheer amount of people who do not stretch after their warm-up is astounding. Most weight-trainers think that is not ‘cool’ to be seen in full view of their mates stretching. They then go and miss it out all together.

This amounts to a big mistake. Why? Because Stretching is a fundamental strategy to improve your overall health & fitness. And it can make daily activities smoother and easier and help prevent injury during strenuous exercise.

Stretching should always, always be done after a warm-up immediately prior to engaging in any exercise. This will not only “awaken” the muscles for exercise but also decrease the chances of pain and injury. Seriously consider incorporating a short regular stretching program or regimen into your exercise routine for your overall benefit.
